Writers can’t stay inside all the time, so I took Edie for a walk. Pretty fucking idyllic.

The red thread of fate is an East Asian belief originating from Chinese legend and is also used in Japanese legend. According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red string around the ankles of those that are destined to meet each other in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. Often, in Japanese culture, it is thought to be tied around the little finger.
The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.
This is basically Team Craw.

I told my stylist Nicholas I speak
of Twilight every chance I get including
weekly meetings at my workplace.
“They are ridiculous - we talk about
our feelings then you light a candle
after setting your intention for the
week. So now I just update my boss and
fellow workers on what scene I have just
read: sometimes it’s vampire baseball, mostly it’s
just Edward being pouty-sexy.
Then I light a candle and for my
intention say that I will focus on
becoming famous for the week.” Nicholas
said “Whatever that’s not real.” So I
said “Team Edward bitch.” He said “Did you just
call me bitch?” So I replied “Yeah bitch.”

My new best friend that doesn’t know he’s my
best friend - my walk-in stylist Nicholas -
showed no surprise when our conversing turned
to Twilight. I explained myself: “My
husband just had surgery and started
reading Game of Thrones and so I had no
shame at starting Steph’nie Meyer’s oeuvre.”
